9/21/2023 0 Comments Diablo 3 official forums![]() Unfortunately, it's difficult to talk about Diablo III without mentioning the shift in tone from the previous games, as the die-hard fans - and they are legion - are rather upset about it. Is anyone else looking forward to the Diablo III? What annoucements, if any, are you hoping to see arrive out of Blizzcon? Gone is the 'Potion Dependancy' of nearly all Hack 'n Slash titles, and in it's place a new focus on the WoW-esque 'Ability Bar', promising to deliver varied and interesting combat. Unlike Blizzard's recent Starcraft II, which changed so little about the game, Diablo III is really changing a lot. World of Warcraft used it's item and 'drip feeding' loot system to great effect, and with eight years worth of development time, Diablo III is set to claim Diablo II's title with some innovative gameplay changes. While Torchlight kicked the original Diablo out of the picture entirely, and it's sequel hoping to finally kick Diablo II off of it's throne, Diablo II is still the best Hack 'n Slash money can buy. I myself am a massive Diablo II fan I still play it to this day. The fifth and final class is yet to be anounced, the 'End Game' content - said to justify the lowered level cap of 60 - hasn't been discussed at all and of course the widespread concern for the general direction of the game has yet to be really addressed in any meaningful way. A lot about Diablo III is still unknown, with only vague details given to the community via the offical forums. With Blizzcon right around the corner, the Diablo III community is gearing up for what they are hoping is a release of new information, and hopefully a release window.

It is possible that the legend of the basilisk and its association with the weasel in Europe was inspired by accounts of certain species of Asiatic snakes (such as the king cobra) and their natural predator, the mongoose. The basilisk's weakness is the odor of the weasel, which, according to Pliny, was thrown into the basilisk's hole, recognizable because some of the surrounding shrubs and grass had been scorched by its presence. According to the Naturalis Historia of Pliny the Elder, the basilisk of Cyrene is a small snake, "being not more than twelve inches in length", that is so venomous, it leaves a wide trail of deadly venom in its wake, and its gaze is likewise lethal. In European bestiaries and legends, a basilisk ( / ˈ b æ s ɪ l ɪ s k/ or / ˈ b æ z ɪ l ɪ s k/ ) is a legendary reptile reputed to be a serpent king, who causes death to those who look into its eyes. ![]() Woodblock print of a basilisk from Ulisse Aldrovandi, Serpentum, et draconum historiae libri duo, 1640ĭragon, Cockatrice, Sea serpent, Giant anaconda, Venomous Mythical Snake 9/20/2023 0 Comments Diablo 4 act 1 mapJust to the west of Zarbinzet, the capital city of Hawezar, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith hiding behind some brush next to a tree. Insignia was worn by only 19.3% and of that, only 18.2% wore corps badges. Of a total of 156 enlisted men Katcher examined, 93 men were photographed in such a way that their headgear could be clearly seen. His sources were: Military Images, Divided We Fought, The Photographic History of the Civil War, They Who Fought Here, and Hunt & Embleton's The American Civil War. In Philip Katcher's article in the September-October (1984) issue of Military Images, he studied photos of Eastern soldiers with six or more field soldiers in each image. What did the common Union Infantryman look like? One would expect to find the most insignia on the "Band Box” Army of the Potomac. If the kepi or forage cap has a corps badge, a company letter, a regimental number, and a brass bugle, it is surely a Reenactor. If the man is wearing a brass bugle on his kepi or forage cap, chances are that it is a photo of a Reenactor. How? The answer is easy: look at the hat. When a person looks at a photo of a Civil War soldier, somehow they can always tell if he is a real 19 th century soldier or a Reenactor.
